I was sent this talk by Jill Taylor from John over at Microclesia.  John was at this conference and said this

“I was at an amazing conference last week. A neuro-scientist named
Jill Taylor gave a short talk that was probably the most profound
depiction of the “deep right brain experience” that I had ever seen
or heard. Please check this out when you have 18 minutes to sit and
watch without interruption. After her talk, the vibe of the entire
conference changed – people were more open, deeper, clearer. Truly
remarkable. This video just went on-line today. There is an essential
message here for all humanity on acknowledging just how closely
connected and related we all are. Very spiritual, very empowering.”

This talk totally caught me off guard as I didn’t know what it was or what to expect but it is incredibly beautiful and moving.  If you have 18 minutes please watch it ALL the way through.

Thank you Jill for your courage in expressing what is dauntingly a submersion into the “ineffable”.

It is fortunate for us, and exceedingly fortunate for you, that the informed grounding of your questing mind was in-place, by virtue of your training. And by equally balanced virtue of your compassion for your brother’s specific challenges.

You outline in your account a circumstantial event anchoring your “experience” — the somatic trigger of a stroke occurring to someone who has in effect professionally cataloged abundant premise, base-line for the dynamic immersion which you came to enter that December day.

I have had acquaintance with experiencing “the experience” you relate (though admittedly yours is a qualified perspective unique to yourself alone).

My encounter with similar “epiphany” to yours was just as surprising in its own astonishing way — though if it had (or has) a somatic initiation, I am as yet unaware of it as being predominant to that of more so arriving at a “psyche-contemplative” threshold from which one (I cannot be the only one) gets whisked away (?) into the “immersion” . . .

I have only recently (decidedly now) committed myself to setting down on paper a report — commentary — as to what my particular encounter was, and has been, since spending (what seemed like gigantic-months-amplified-moments) one night in lucid contact (conjoinment?) with a (the?) “seamless-multiplicity-of-individuation” you eloquently mention.

I only just reasserted to my wife two days ago, Saturday, that I would again re-embark on “that book” I have started and restarted (distraction being of course natural being that I also am much too-busy a man) since my initial encounter in 1995.

Right after finishing this Response to viewing your talk on this website i am attending to a thank-you to the dear friend who sent the hyperlink my way to reach my mail box so fortuitously as to re-inform my personal commitment to share, as you have shared, an important encouragement to our fellow “selves” to attempt balance — recalibration — of this joyous dance we dance . . .

Again, thank you, Jill — your friend in this “experience”,

D.E.P.

You can also reach this experience through meditation.
Sit down, be still, go to your inner space and realize what we are.
