My name is Trent Yaconelli and I am a song writer, musician, author, father and husband. I have written my entire life but was never willing or felt bold enough to call myself a writer until I had some sort of public acknowledgement. Over ten years in a rock band beat that out of me. I have finally realized it does not matter who or what the world says I am, it matters who I say I am. Since that time I have pushed myself to write more songs, chapters, books, letters, poetry, random thoughts etc and I have never been happier. I play music in a rock band called Five A.M. out of the North Bay in California and I am using that experience currently to get a book published on life, art, path and spirituality. I am also working on a solo album that will combine alot of my thoughts from this site with music. Sort of a spiritual record for religious burn outs. I live in California with my beautiful wife Ondrejka and two young sons Wilder and Easton.
